In 2007 Brad Grace (Mu) had opened a forum dedicated to he then emerging Nepali meditating boy, Ram Bomjon, and called it The Buddha Boy Google Group (based on the name the media gave to the child meditator). The forum was a success, counting about 700 members by 2010. Freedom of opinion, tolerance, open-mindedness had been its main characteristic. Only machine-spam was deleted (not posts of members, no matter how critical they might have been towards Buddha Boy or anything and anyone). The atmosphere was elevated and supportive. Mu, the owner had chosen 4 managers to assist him.
One of them was Zsuzsi Takacs (Marīci), another one Andrea Good (LoveTruthJoy, LTJ). Both of them came to Buddha Boy in Nepal in 2011 (LTJ alone already once in 2008 before). It was Ram Bomjon himself who had unexpectedly created a schism between his two devotees: while Marīci had become an innocent object of Bomjon’s hate-speech, violent attacks, kidnapping and tortures, Andrea Good became his favored representative, whom he elevated to be the practical chief of his “Sangha”. The ownership of the Buddha Boy Google Group forum had been passed on by Mu to Joe Schmidt, as Mu could no longer follow the direction the Group had taken (apparently under the leadership of Bomjon’s crusader missionary, Andrea, yet Mu did not specify names).
Then a further step downwards from the formerly high ethical standard of this forum came when Joe had passed this ownership to Andrea in 2012 and her first move was to cancel his access… But already in the course of 2011 Andrea had pushed out Marīci from the Google Group, and established there and atmosphere of fanaticism, dictatorship and censorship – the same, though in a much more dramatic way, had been done to Marīci in Nepal, where she stayed as a volunteer and meditator in Halkhoria, near Bomjon, ending with violent physical attacks, kidnapping, holding captive and torturing her by Ram Bomjon and the very Sangha she was serving as a reporter (October 2011 and December-March 2012). Because Marīci’s praising and intensely spiritual posts had been still accessible to any new member, even after she herself was denied access, Andrea decided to finally close down the original Buddha Boy Google Group entirely, deleting the existence of a nearly historical first community, which was lasting 5 years.
She had created a new Google Group where she was the only leader and set up a policy of total obedience towards herself, where posts and access right had been regularly deleted, members strictly reprimanded, questions taken as provocations, doubts and criticism not tolerated. As a result, the formerly 700 head online community was reduced to about 150, most of whom are just silent watchers, afraid to join discussion, not to loose the membership.
As I am getting numerous complaints from unjustly treated members of this new group, whom Andrea publicly humiliated, their posts deleted or entirely “kicked out”, I decided to give access to the “historical” Google Group’s posts and by this to initiate an eventual new forum, based on the originally set up freedom of speech and opinion and equality among all members and leaders. If this would not happen (maybe due to people losing interest in such a fanatic cult and harmful “guru”), at least everyone can crate a more truthful image about the key players of the story, and get some unsolicited information from the “old times” about Ram Bomjon (now Maitriya Guru Dharma Sangha), which still did not suffer the Sangha’s censorship.
